The Federal Government recognized government issued photo ID. Out of date is valid.
They are not fly anywhere if there were something like a passport or military ID card to produce.
If the identification is now supposedly. You can expect the staff of the airport in both directions, do not know this, or you can take your passport. Only a photo ID by the state, military identification or passports will be issued, valid for travel.
